House of the Spirits Redesign

The new cover for The House of the Spirits, by Isabel Allende, was created with the use of Photoshop. The tools used were the masking tool, different blending modes for each layer and image editing, such as color correction.

The pictures in the frames each aim to represent a different era of the main family portrayed in the book. The warmer tones represent the familiarity and closeness of the family, as well as a more vintage feel.
